The Team

The directors and officers of FRP are:

David N Fell – Chief Executive

Starting in 1991 David founded a series of four residential property companies focused on London and structured so as to provide investors with access to Business Expansion Scheme tax reliefs.  These companies flourished, were merged together into FRP Group Plc and successfully sold to a subsidiary of British Land Plc in 2002.  Investors in the initial public offers, most of who stayed on board for the duration, increased their investment by 4.0 times to 6.1 times over periods of between 9 and 12 years. These businesses were successful through a combination of careful property selection, rigorous cost controls and attention to day to day management detail.

Subsequent to FRP Group Plc, David has invested in a number of start-up companies, including SI Seafarms Limited where he is Chairman of the Board.

Prior to FRP Group Plc, David worked as a banker with Lloyds Bank Plc and Republic Bank Corporation and as a treasurer at Amalgamated Metal Corporation Plc.

Professor Michael J Earl – Non-executive Chairman

Michael was acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Oxford University, having previously been Dean and Head of Templeton College, Oxford.  Prior to that, Michael was Professor, Deputy Principal and Acting Principal at London Business School.  Michael has acted as consultant on Information Management, Business Strategy and Financial Management to many leading businesses including PricewaterhouseCoopers, BP and N M Rothschild & Sons.

Paul N Bellack – Non-executive Director

Paul has extensive knowledge and experience of the UK property market, having worked in this sector for 35 years. For a number of years Paul managed a number of substantial property funds for Sun Life of Canada. Paul was a founder and is a non-executive director of The Ethical Property Company Limited and has interests in a number of commercial property assets held through UK partnerships and private companies.

Peter Cass – Company Secretary

Peter has over 30 years’ experience having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London before moving with KPMG to USA and Asia.  Subsequently he worked for HSBC in Asia then returned to London where he worked as a company doctor before devoting his time to assisting start up companies get off the ground.  Peter has proven skills in financial management, corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, start up operations and divestments.
